I hope y'all are doing well! This week was really good. We had exchanges this week and zone confrence! Which was a blast! I learned a lot from both of them. This week was also the womens session of general confrence. I really loved that as well! What's sad is that I think that was my first time watching that part of General confrence. I was probably either working or didint know when it was. Haha anyways, heres how my week went. :)
We had Zone Confrence this Tuesday, and one of the members of the 70 came and spoke to us. It was Elder Curtis. He spoke a lot about the BOM and how we can gain a bigger and better testimony of it. One of the missionaries had asked him, "when was the time you first gained a testimony of the BOM?" He said that when you read the BOM, dont just read it. Study it. One of the ways that really helped him was that he prayed after every verse and asked God if this was the true word of god. That really stuck out to me because you cant know if something is true if you dont ask God.
We were in Cookeville all day on Wednesday and half of the day on Tuesday for exchanges. It was a blast. I was with Sister Johnson who is such a sweetheart We mostly did tracting on Wednesday which went okay. Every person we tried to contact that day was busy. Which was a bummer. But it was a lot of fun. My goal for Exchanges/Power ups was to give out a BOM. I finally handed one out the very last door we went to and this older lady answerd. She didnt really seem very intrested but I ended up handing her a BOM anyway because I felt really prompted to. She accepted the book which was way cool.

We got the chance to meet with Cynthia on Thursday. She is doing good but is really stressed out. Her work just fired 3 more people and hired at least 1 new person, so her work is really low on staff. She is working every single day. So it is really hard for her to get off of work for church. She despretly wants too so please keep praying for her. Ever sense Cynthia has been meeting with us she has been going through a rough time. She said on Thursday, "I know Satan is trying to get me to not get baptised but I am not going to let him win. I just have to keep holding on, but I am NOT going to let him win!" Her testimony is so strong and beautiful. Im so proud of her for not giving up.
Sam and Judy are doing wonderful. We didnt get the chance to meet with them this week because Sam's brothers were in town and they were spending time with them. We were able to see them at church on sunday though so that was really good :)
Angel and Lucas are doing much better than last week. We had a little bit of a scare last week because Angel had texted us canceling our lesson on Saturday very last minute and told us that she was still going to have us over for dinner that friday but she was looking for other churchs. Sister Knegt and I were very confused sense she just was confirmed a member of the church and we thought she was ready. Elder Macdonald felt the same way sense he was the one who interviewed her. Latter we found out that she had some concerns and it turned out that some of her co workers were telling her false things about the church. We were able to address all of her questions and concerns she had and she is now feeling much better about everything! I was so happy that we got to help her out with everything!
I love this gospel and I love our savior. Being on a mission is definitely one of the best but hardest desision that I have made! I can feel my testimony growing stronger and stronger every single day.
I Love you all!!!
