This day was P-day :) we woke up ten minutes earlier than usual. In the morning we went and did our laundry for about an hour and a half we were so hot after we were done. After we were done with our laundry we went over to the book store to get some stuff that Sister Larsen needed. Then we went to this little podium thing and we studied there for almost two hours up there. That night we went to choir practice and we sang an arranged peice of "I know that my redeemer lives and it was so beautiful. So cool too because we sang in the MTC Choir at the devotional. When we were singing I felt the spirit so much it was incredible.
7/19/17
Sister Dekarver, Sister Larsen, Sister Prusse and me woke up 30 minutes earlier than usual to do service. It went well. We vacuumed the residents hall and we cleaned the stalls with viniger we stunk so bad with vinigre after we were finnished so we went and took a shower. Sister Prusse Had lost her glasses and so we had to go look for them. She found them thank heavens but it made us a little bit late to class... Ooops. At dinner I saw my cousin Elder Wasden. it made my day so much better to see family. :) We went and excerised after that. After Excersize we had what we call TRC's (teaching resource center.) Its basically were we teach a fake investigator to get practice. I love teaching the gospel its really hard because the investigators ask really hard questions. (That just shows me that I need to study more. ;) ) There was this investigator that we had was really quite and Sis. Dekarver and me were really trying hard to figure out her needs.

Today in class we did mural hopping and it was amazing. We went to all of these different murals that were in our building and learned more about it. All of them were beautiful. My favorite one out of all of them was the panting of Esther. The quote they had underneath it was one of my favorites it said "What can we do with the lords help?" I know that we can do anything with the lords help as long as we have enough faith. In class that day the Elders were talking about how they where shooting cats. I felt so bad for the cats but thats our Elders for ya. haha

Today we got our Travel plans!!! we would leave August 1st I was so happy. but the only thing that I am not happy about is that we have to leave at like 3:45 in the morning to go to Tennessee. Yuck!! 🙄 there well be 19 people in our travel group. We had TRC's that night again and they went okay. We had one investigator that was really hard because she wouldnt talk at all and it would be really hard for me and sister Dekarver to figure out what to teach her. but the other investigator we had is amazing. Her name was Erica. She was so cute. We invited her to be baptized and she said YES!!!. I was so happy. oh one other thing that happend when we were excersizing we were working out our gluts that day and my companion shouted out "were going to have a cute butt!!!" It was so funny.That day in class practiced street contacting and talked to them what the BOM was about. We just practiced with our district. it was still a good experience.

HUMP DAY!!! We made it to the half way point tell we go to tennessee! in class we had a sub because our teacher brother griffiths wasnt there. We had another PI (progressing investigator for those of you who do not know what that means is we just teach our teacher.) our PI's name was Antonella. Her lesson was a little bit different from what we had in the past. The teacher had Elder Alm, Elder Udall and Elder Cooper teach and then me and Sister Dekarver Observe and we would switch half way through so we really had to listen to what was going on.This was our last day with Erica. It was a sad day but she gave us her email. I have to say my favortie part of the day was getting mail from my mom Lara and danny! Thanks so much you guys I love you!

Today was awesome. We went to church and sister Dekarver and I had to teach Relief Socitey. We taught it on the apostisy and restoration. it went okay besides the fact that my brain was blank. haha after that we went into the building where are classroom is at and studied. in the middle of the study section these elders where trying to get the people on the first floors attention because there was a sister and an elder sitting together. but the funny part is that we thought they where trying to get our attention and on there tablets they wrote PG 33! because in the missionary handbook it says no flirting on that page. haha It kind of reminded me a little bit of taylor swifts you belong with me music video!:) then we went to choir and a devotional. The speaker that day was good but they sang more than they spoke. They were trying to get to the point were music brings the spirit. It did. It was amazing.

Pioneer day!! Right Before Class had started theyre was a race that was going on and we were looking out the window and watching them. The funny part was is that I thought I saw my dad running but it wasnt him. It was a good day. It didnt really feel like the 24th to me because we didnt really see the fireworks and I wasnt with my family. We got new investigators and The lessons went really well. exept for the first lesson with Candice because my mind kept going blank. but our last one went way well. Our TRCs students name was Makayla and she is so sweet she is our age so it was a little bit easier to teach her. :) Later we had a little district meeting and we just shared embarrissing and funny stories. I love how close my district is. :)
