Hello my dear family and friends!
I hope all of you had had a great week! This week has been really slow in the work because we've had a couple of people drop us this week but that only means that we have more room to build up our teaching pool! Here is how our week went:)!
Monday- pday! We went over to the stake center and just emailed and played volleyball with a lot of the people in our zone. It was kind of fun.
Tuesday- We had a great lesson with Rodney. (one of our investigators here in chatt valley) who is a really great guy! After our lesson we went over to the bishops for dinner. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met and his whole family is that way too. We shared the talk the power of the Book of Mormon and invited them to write their testimonies in them and hand them out.
Wednesday- Contacting day! We spent most of the day contacting our investigators. We had a lesson with Macy ( a recent convert in our ward) which went really well. She said she liked the scriptures that we shared with her! We then went over to a dinner appointment with the relief socitey president and her family! So fun!
Thursday-we had district meeting and we weekly planned:) !!
Friday- We had a awesome lesson with charlene (one of our investigators) and we felt the spirit so much! We then had dinner with a family in our ward who are amazing people.
Saturday- we helped a lady in our ward move. We both felt super good about it later!
Sunday- we went to choir and vsited a bunch of people after church then we had dinner with an awesome family in our ward!
I know that I have said this about a million times in my past emails but I am so greatful that I was able to decide and to be able to come out on this mission. I have met so many wonderful people and made some really good friends out here in the south! I wouldnt change these past 6 months for anything! My testimony has grown so much and the love that I have for the gospel has grown even bigger president that it was before I left! I love this church and know that this is were I need to be right now.
Hope y'all have a safe and amazing rest of you're week!
Love,
Sister Jensen

Hello from Chickamauga, Georgia❤!
Dear family and friends,
This week was really good. We had transfers this week and I got transfered to the Chatt Valley south area! As I said in my last email Im serving with Sister Snyder who is the cutest human ever! She is technically from Georgia because she was born here but moved to Highland, Utah a couple of years ago. We both get along really well! Since we like most of the same stuff! Anyway, I'm sure y'all are dying to hear what cool things that happened this week so let's get started:)!
Monday- Last p-day in Lebanon. Elder Fillingim, Elder Lopez, Sister Erickson and I went out to breakfast to Shoney's I had some French Toast eggs and bacon which was all really good. After breakfast we went over to the church to have one last Nerf Gun war as a district. It was way fun! Some of the elders investigators came and played with us. I have some pictures down bellow. Later that night we had FHE with the Westbrooks and we helped Boogie with family history stuff and just said goodbye to everyone.
Tuesday- Sister Erickson and I got a text from Tony that morning saying that he was finally able to get out of jail!! Sister Erickson and I were so excited that we literally jumped out of our seat! We wanted so despritly to run over to his house and see him but figured that we should probably give him a little bit of space before we went to see him again. After we got the text from Tony we went over to Mama Tays again to watch the broad cast for President Nelson. It was so cool to watch the announcment! We had a lesson with Alan after that, which went really well. I got to say goodbye to him and everything like that. Later that night we had one last lesson with Ben before I left. We taught him about temples and families which went really well! After the lesson was over Ben says "Wait, that was it?!" So we asked him if he wanted to learn more and he said yes! So we were able to teach him about callings. It was so cool knowing that I was able to teach him everything before I left. Now all he needs to do is come to church one more time and then he is ready for baptism:)!
Wednesday- Transfer day!! We woke up wednesday and got ready for me to leave Lebanon. Before leaving we were able to stop by Tony's to say a quick goodbye before I left. We then headed to Farragut for transfers were I got to meet Sister Snyder! It was fun to see most of my friends there. We finally left to go back to Chatt Valley. We got to the house and I was able to get all settled in. It was strange to find out that we were going to be living in a house instead of an apartment. Later that day I found out that our house is almost 100 years old so, that's differrent!
Thursday- We had district meeting today and I finally got to meet our district! In our district we have Sister Wanless, Sister Tiejen, Sister McCune, Sister Wiseman, Elder Bingham and Elder Bradford (who is our District leader). All are really nice! I was really excited to find out that Sister Wiseman was in our district because We came out together! After district meeting we went out to eat with the district. We went to a mexican restaurant and of course I got a Quesidella. After lunch we went back to the church and weekly planned there since we know dont have wifi in our house. After that we went back home to take a quick nap and then finnished weekly planning. I also got to talk to Boogie that night which totally made my day:)!
Friday- We had a lesson with a lady in our ward today. Oh my gosh it was so hard to get out of there apperintly she really needed to talk because we ended up leaving 5 hours later! After our lesson we decided to go to Wal-Mart to pick up somethings that we needed right then. After Wal-Mart we went over to visit one of our investigators named Ben who is a pretty cool guy. We talked for him for a little bit and then went home for the night.
Saturday- We helped a family in our ward move! For a couple of hours that morning. Which was pretty fun! We then got a couple of things done at the house and went to ward Correlation. I got to meet our ward mission leader. Who is really nice! His name is Timothy. After ward correlation we went back home and decided to build a fort to keep warm. Our house was so cold friday night that it was so hard to get out of bed! But, it is all good now!
Sunday- Today we went to ward Council were I finally got to meet our bishop. Who is the sweetest guy! We then went to church. We stayed after for choir which was really fun! After church we had our studies .We were so tired we could hardly Keep our eyes open so we decided to take a nap before dinner. After our nap we had a dinner apointment with the Fawsons who are the nicest people! We then ended the day by talking to district leader for weekly calls and then went to bed.
Im so excited to be here in Georgia for this next transfer. Although I miss the beautiful area of Lebanon I know that this is were the lord wants me to be! Hope y'all have a great week!
Love y'all!

Transfer calls, baptismal date in jail and TEMPLE!
Hello everyone!
Hope y'all had an amazing week! I sure did! I'm just going to do a shorter start to my email this week because I have so much to talk about! So lets get started shall we?
TRANSFER CALLS
We had Transfer Calls Saturday morning and it turns out that I am leaving Lebanon and headed to Chattanooga Valley South to serve with Sister Snyder! I'm so excited and a little sad to be leaving the people here in Lebanon! There's so many people that I've grown to love here, but I know that the Lord needs me there in Chatt and I know that there will be people that I will grow to love there just as much!
BAPTISMAL DATE IN JAIL??
For 4 days we wern't able to get a hold of Tony, so naturally Sister Erickson and I thought that he was ghosting us. but it turned out that he was just in jail... the elders called us up on Tuesday morning explaining to us what happend. Sister Erickson and I jumped up with excitment and headed to the jail right away to go and visit him. As soon as we got there we had no idea were to go because none of us had ever been to visit someone there. After what seemed like hours we finally found the visitation center and asked if we can visit with Tony. The lady at the front desk told us to come back at 1:00 and that is exactly what we did. She finally let us in and Im not kidding y'all it looked like we were in a movie scene. It had the class, the bright orange jump suite and the phone were you get to talk to the person on the other side of the glass. Anyway, when us four missionaries walked in Tony was so happy to see us. We were able to have a lesson with him. It was kind of tricky because we had limited resorces and we couldnt give Tony anything so we just read alma 32 with him. Elder Lopez and Elder Fillingim held up the BOM to the class so that Tony can read with us. At the end of the lesson the elders were like you should put him on date. So we did and he is going to be BAPTIZED Febuary 27! Im so excited for him!
TEMPLE TRIP WITH SAM AND JUDY!!
We finally were able to go to the temple with Sam and Judy! I am so glad that we were able to go with them! They absulutly loved it! Judy told us, "now, I know what to do whenever life gets to crazy I'll just go to the temple and God would take care of it!" It was so cool to see the look of happiness on there faces as soon as we got inside the temple!
Religion ladies class with Anne:)!
We had the chance to go to Anne's (our investigator) class with her on Tuesday morning. We were able to go and give some insight on the holy ghost as she is a teacher at the church and she invited us to com with her. Anne is such a funny lady but I love her to death. I am so glad that we went. We left with a really good impression and everyone there told us that we should come back. I felt really good about the dission about going.
I know that thisis the path that Heavenly Father wants me to go. I am so greateful that I am able to be a part of this mission and got to grow close to the people that I have met in the beautiful Lebanon, TN.

Alive and happy in good old Lebanon, Tennessee!
Hey y'all!! Well, another amazing week has come and gone! This week has been truely amazing in the wonderful and blessed Lebanon, Tennessee! Im sure y'all are wanting to hear about my week so let's get started!
Investigators:
Alan- We were able to get a referral from the spanish elders on Saturday for this guy named Alan. He is a really cool guy who has been meeting with the missionaries for 40 YEARS!!! Yes, you read it right! 40 years!! We met with him on Tuesday and went over the baptismal interview questions with him and he is 90% ready to be baptised! We just need to teach him a few more lessons and he should be good to go! He told us that he almost got baptised in Apirl of last year but didnt because he was concerned about his feet that have a medical condition that makes it so he cant get them wet and a couple of other really good excuses as well. So he stopped meeting with the missionaries for a couple of months and now he feels ready to take the discussions again! He also told us that he is ready to be baptised soon!! So we are working with him to meet that goal!
Tammie and Megan- Another really cool experince happened on Tuesday as well. We went tracting and tracted into Tammie and Megan who are mother and daughter. They acceptingly let us in and we were able to teach them the restoration! We asked them if this is something they felt like this is right and Tammie (the mom) said yes! When we asked if they would like to learn more about it Megan said that she wanted too! Sister Erickson and I literally started jumping with excitment. So, we set up a time where we can meet with them again later that week!
Tony- We were also able to teach Tony this week. He is doing really well and has been reading the Book of Mormon. When we met with him on Tuesday we were able to teach him the Restoration on his porch in 10 degree weather. haha but it went really well. After feeling like our fingers and toes were about to fall off we set up a time when we can meet with him again later that week. We were also able to meet with Tony on Friday this time we met at the church to teach him. Which was a lot warmer. haha we were able to teach him the Plan of Salvation and he loved it! He asked a lot of really good questions. Later that night he called us and said he was a little confused on chapter 4 of the Book of Mormon and so we were able to help him understand it better. I loved that he felt comfurtable enough were he could call us for that! We invited him to come to church with us on Sunday and He did!!! He loved sacrament meeting and Gospel Principles and said that presthood was a little weird since we havnt gone over temple work yet. We were able to explain it to him afterwords and he felt a lot better about it. Im excited to continue teaching him and watching him progress!
Ben- We also were able to meet with Ben on Thursday which went really well! We taught him about keeping the sabbath day holy and tithing and fast offerings. We read 1 nephi chapter 7 with him and loved it. He is doing great and making his way towards his baptism!
Heather and Pat- Heather and Pat are mother and daughter as well. We met Pat(the mom of Heather) while trying to get in contact with Heather who was a referral from the spanish elders. We finally caught Heather on Saturday. She told us that her house was a complete mess and of course we told her that we didnt mind so she let us in to teach her family. However while we were going inside their massive pit bull comes running straight at us and growling at us acting like its about to bite us. So, of course I froze with fear while Sister Erickson was pushing me around trying to get to safety. After what seemed like forever Heather was finally and gratefully able to get that big scary dog under control without anyone getting hurt. Other than that and the nasty red crock roaches everywhere, the lesson went really well as we were able to put them BOTH on date for baptism! I am so exicted to teach them and to watch their testimonies grow!
Ellic- On Thursday we had a lesson with Ellic. Sister Erickson and I both felt like we should go over the baptismal interview questions just to see where he was at and something about it told us that he was not intrested at all. Which was too bad. Maybe now is not the right time for him though. He will probably come around afrter a little break.
We were able to go to the Nashville temple on Wednesday for an endownment session with the Keefes! It was so fun! I loved being able to go to the temple and exploring downtown Nashville with them! I am excited to go with Sam and Judy on Tuesday for Baptisms! Oh, I almost forgot to mentiion that Sam BORE HIS TESTIMONY on Sunday!! They are doing so well and are loving the joy that the gospel is bringing them!
I love the lord and his gospel and this work so much! It brings me happiness studing it everyday and sharing it to people! Hope y'all have a safe and amazing week! Love y'all and miss you so much!!
love,
Sister Jensen

The work is moving foward!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Hello my dear family and friends!!
Hope that you had a wonderful and safe Christmas and New Years! I simply cannot believe that it is 2018! Which I'm excited about because it is what we call our black out year! I will be a missionary for all of 2018! So excited to see what this year has instore! I'm sure everyone is wondering how the week went so lets get started! Sorry this email is a little bit longer but I couldnt decide what experences I wanted to put in this email so I just put all of them in. Haha. We Gained 3 new investigators this week and they are doing good! Here is litle bit about each of them!
On Christmas Eve we tracted into this single mom named Brittany. We introduced ourselves and scheduled a return appointmet to come back and meet with her that Wednesday. Wednesday came and we ended up teaching her the restoration. It blew our minds to see how Intrested she was to hear our message. She kept telling us that this is the peace that she was looking for. We invited her to be baptised on the first lesson and she accepted! What an amazing experince y'all!
Later this week we tracted into Gisma who is from South Sudan Africa and her culture taught her to always accept Jesus Christ so when we said that we were here to share a message about Jesus Christ she let us in right away. We showed her a prince of peace video and descussed how wonderful Jesus Christ is. It's kind of hard to teach her because she speaks Arabic and knows little english just enough to have a conversation with us. So, we are trying to see if there is some way we can get a missionary/anybody that knows her launguage to skype in for a lesson with her! So, if anyone of you know anyone that knows the language of Arabic please email me and let us know!:) On thursday we went back over to give her Book of Mormon in Arabic and she got so excted and started reading right away. It was the coolest thing!
On Friday we were able to meet with Tony! Tony is a referral from the sisters in Mount Juliet. We went over earlier that day to introduce ourselves and get to know him a little bit more. We were able to set up an appointment with him for that day! The lesson went really well we had a member call us from mount juliet who is a friend of Tony's and wanted to come to the lesson with us. He was an amazing team up! Tony had some questions on the Holy Ghost and questions about the Atonment. He told us if it feels right he wants to get baptised and he said that he wanted to get baptised in a river which I thought was really cool! haha he also said that he was going to try to come to church with us on sunday! We were able to get a return appointment for Tuesday! :)
on Saturday we did some tracting and did a little bit of contacting until we had a dinner appointment with a family in our ward. After that we went on a team up with some members and were able to talk to this less active guy named Terrence that the english Elders were working with. We shared a bunch of videos with him because he kept asking for some more to watch because he loved them. We invited him to come to church and told him that we would bring him some moon pies if he does come to church. He told us that he would try to make it. After that we went home and played a round of uno to wrap up the night.
Sunday (New years eve!) we woke up and went to church. Terrence CAME TO CHURCH!!! It was so cool to see him there because I dont think I have ever seen him there at church beforeAfter church we had a lesson with Ben. He is doing really well and still is excited to be baptised! Right after Ben's lesson we went over to the Keefe's for dinner and just to hang out with them. It was a lot of fun. After we got home we played alittle bit of Uno with the elders and watched meet the mormons until midnight then we went to bed right after that. Such a great day!
I am extreemly greatful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and the oppurtunity I have to share his gospel with others. I have loved watching this gospel change the lives of others. I hope that this next week would be just as great as this last week. I love you all and hope you have a safe and wonderful New Years!
