7 months out!

Hello everyone!

Man, I can't believe its another start of the week! This week was really fantastic! I hit my 7 month mark last monday which is CRAZY to me! The lord has really blessed us this week as well. I don't really want to ramble on to much because if I do this email might be way to long and I have way to many things to say about this week so lets get started shall we?

On Monday we celebrated my 7 month mark by walking around the Chickamauga battlefield with the Elders! Lots of fun even though it was really cloudy and foggy we still had a really good time!

On Tuesday we got a bible referral for this girl named Valerie and we went and dropped the bible off on Wednesday and she was super happy we stopped by. She had a lot of questions about our beliefs. She seemed super intrested and invited her to church and said that she will stop by one Sunday. We were able to get a return appointment for Tuesday so that was awesome!

Thursday was another really amazing day! We had a lesson with Rodney and we talked about baptism and comformation with him! The spirit was so strong! After the lesson we invited Rodney to be baptized! He accepted and is getting baptized March 17! After our lesson with Rodney we went to Bobbie's to teach her the Restoration. We were really suprised that she had some time and we were actually able to go inside her house! The spirit there at her house was so strong! We also invited Bobbie to be batized and she also accepted! She will be geting baptized March 24! ahhh so excited for each of them!

Friday we weekly planned so nothing to exciting happend that day. haha

Saturday we went to a baptism for Erick which was so spiritual and amazing! Cool story about Erick he is actually one of the elders investigators so they have been teaching him fo a little while but one day he had this instant desire to want to be baptized and so he asked the elders if he could so they were like heck ya!

Sunday we went to church and ward choir. After that we had a Lunch Appointment with Sister Duffey who is the sweetest lady and played some games with her which was so fun! After Sister Duffey's we headed straight to the Forresters for dinner. Man was I stuffed! What a great sunday though!

So, as you can tell that the Chatt Valley area still continues to be a great area to serve in! I love the people here with all my heart! Also, transfer calls are on saturday so Im excited to see if I will be getting transfered or not. I dont think I will be since I have only been here for 1 transfer but who knows:)? Well, I love y'all and hope you have a wonderful week!

A week full of miracles:)

Dear family and friends,

This week was really good so full of miracles! Im just going to explain just a few that had happened.

To start off the week, we had an awesome visit with one of our investigators Bobbie and Sister Mantyla invited her to come to church and she said that she would be there! We also had a lesson with Rodney that day as well. Sister Mantyla was an amazing team up again! We talked about journaling, faith and repentance. The spirit there was so strong!

We were also able to have exhanges this week! I was able to go with Sister Montgomery and Sister Snyder went with Sister Kite. On exchanges we had an amazing lesson with one of their investigators Hector who just got baptized on Saturday night! He is an incredible person who just loves God and this church already! He told us that he feels like God thinks that he is important when before he didn't feel that way before! I can already tell that he has so much faith in God and this church. During exchanges Sister Snyder was able to put Vicky one of our investigators on date for baptism for March 24 so keep her in your prayers!!

On Sunday we had not 1, not 2, but 3 people come to church!!! Bobbie! Rodney! And Macy! Bobbie said that she hasn't been to church in 30 years! After the sacrament Bobbie leaned over to me and said that she almost didn't go cause her back was hurting her too bad, but went anyways and when she took the sacrament her back immediately stopped hurting! What!!?? Like how crazy is that! She loved it and told us that she will be back not this Sunday but next! Rodney and Macy loved church as well!

Even though I miss the people that I met in Lebanon like crazy, I am really starting to love this area so much and loving the people here! I know that this is where I need to be and where God needs me at this very moment! There isn't a doubt in my mind that this church is true, I love this gospel and I love my savior and trust in him with all of my heart, might mind and strength!

I love and miss y'all! Have a great week!

Rock City, Crosages and Zone Confrence!

Hello, my dear family and friends!

I hope each of you had a wonderful week! This week has been really amazing, it's been full of many wonderful blessings that has come our way!
So, this is what happend this week!

Monday- We were able to go to Rock City with our amazing district. It was so much fun! For those of you that don't know what Rock City is it is basically a park that has a walk way and a bunch of rock formtions. It's really cool! After Rock City we spent the rest of the evening trying to find a dicent car wash to use which was a pain in the rear to find but we finally found one!
Tuesday- We had a wonderful lesson with Rodney! He is doing great! Sister Mantylla (a member in our ward) was able to come with us for his lesson. She was absalutly amazing! We talked about 1 nephi 8 which was about the tree of life and he seemed to really have liked it! After the lesson with Rodney we went and did some service for Alycia (who is one of our investigators). We helped her make corsages for a Daddy Daughter dance that was happing on friday. While we were there we were able to talk to her friend Heather (Who is a non member as well) about helping out with water colors at a nursing home! So that is awesome! Later that evening we were able to visit with a less active family in our ward whos kids are some of our investigators:). That family is amazing!
Wednesday- We went and visited a sweet lady in the hospital who is a member in our ward. She loved the visit and wanted us to come back and visit with her as soon as she is out. After visiting her we went and washed and cleaned out our car beause we had Zone Confrence the next day.
Thursday-  Zone Confrence was really really good! I loved all of the trainings! There was one trianing that the STL's gave that talked about finding people to teach. It was way good. We also found out that our mission is getting smart phones on Thursday, so we talked a little bit about that. So, that's exciting! After Zone Confrence we did some weekly planning and walked over to a members  shop that was right by our house to give her some flyers for a dance.
Friday- We went tracting and the first house we knocked on we found a new investigator Jack!  He was very nice and told us that he has already read "our bible" A.K.A the Book of Mormon! He also told us that he was friends with some people in our ward that he adores! We were able to give him another copy of the Book of Mormon since he gave his copy back and a restoration pamphlet for him to read! After tracting we went contacting.
Saturday- We were able to help the Forresters (a family in our ward) clean the church. It was good because we were able to help them out and we were able to do some service for them! After cleaning the church we headed out for a lesson with Lacy and "Granny" who are some of our other investigators. It was really good to meet them and share a scripture with them. After Lacy and Granny we went to drop off a bible for a bible referral we had gotten earlier that week. Cool thing was that we wern't just able to meet his wife and drop the bible off to him we were able to get inside there home to teach them the Restoration! Brenda (Ricky's wife) had some really good questions about Joseph smith and if we believed in Jesus Christ. which led us to having a 4 hour lesson! It was amazing! Brenda kept saying it all make since now!
Sunday-  We went to church and after which went to choir. We also had the oppertunity to meet with Wilma (who is another member in our ward) and that went really well, we shared President Monson's talk the power of the Book of Mormon, with them and they really liked it!

I can promise y'all if you pray for help and guidince you will recieve that help that you need. You may not recieve that answer right away but it will come. Just remember that it is all in the Lord's timing!

I love and miss y'all so much!! I hope you have safe and wonderful week:)!

Love,
Sister Jensen
