My First Week!

Hello friends and family!

This first week went really well. Its amazing how much you can feel the spirit here in the MTC! My companion is Sister Dekarver and she is from Saratoga Springs. So, not very far away from here. :) There are six of us sisters in one room. All of them are so sweet! We all get a long really well. This week was kind of a blur to me. We had some really good lessons that were taught and were incredible. In church we talked about faith a lot. The teachers are so good here. This Sunday was amazing. We went to a devotional where the MTC president and his wife talked to us for a little bit about what was going on this week and what to expect.

After that we went to choir practice and the spirit when we sang was so good. It was an arragend piece of I Know That My Redeemer Lives. One of my favorite songs. Then after choir we watched a video called The Character of Christ.  It litterally changed my life just listing to president Bednar talk. One of the things he said that I really liked was that the character of Christ is to help the people you love and everybody else. That just touched my heart so much. One of the things I almost forgot to mention is that we sing A LOT here and I love it so much. There is one Elder in our district who's name is Elder Bacon. When he first introduced himself someone shouted, "I like bacon!" It was so funny. haha.

I just wanted to let you know that Heavenly Father is by your side every step of the way. I have no doubt in that.

I love you all and miss you all so very much! I hope you all have an amazing 😱😱😱😱😱😱week!
